Brits Katie Halliday and her partner Ewan Paterson have decided to take time away from their busy careers in London and cycle the world.
Katie is an avid fan of physical challenges and always up for adventure. Having completed marathons and an Ironman, she's sure to be up for the physical challenges of long-distance bike touring.
When faced with psychological challenges, it's her relentless optimism she'll be depending on.
The couple set off from the UK in February 2016 and will soon complete the  USA leg of their bike tour, a ride along Adventure Cycling's Southern Tier route. Next up is New Zealand, then it's on to Southeast Asia, the Stans and back to Europe.
