Brigitte Jost and her husband Ivo are bikepacking around the world. On the road since 2013, the adventure-loving couple has crossed Asia, Africa, South America and North America. They are currently riding through the high Himalaya.
Over the last eighteen years, the Swiss duo has visited more than fifty countries and ridden approximately 90,000 kilometers. They are driven to discover the beauty and diversity in our fast-changing world and to experience different lifestyles.
They have a particular interest in the borderland regions, whose inhabitants have been forgotten by the rest of the world.
Their off-the-beaten-track biking takes them to places few Western travelers visit. Highlights of their almost two decades of touring include cycling in the middle of winter over frozen lakes in Siberia, riding the Iditarod national trail in Alaska and discovering new routes in the high altitude desert of the Puna in the Andes.
On their website, they share travel stories, bike touring pictures and route descriptions from some of the remotest corners of the world.
